I can’t say enough good things about Robert and his services. High quality, attention to detail, and many services you might not expect from a “window tint” guy. I took my boat in to have some old window tint replaced and walked out with window tint, ceramic coating and detail, and a new light and sound system! Needless to say my original budget changed considerably but with every change order I felt that Robert was fair and easy to work with. He is equal parts craftsman and an artist that made sure all work was completed to a high level of detail. I highly recommend Robert and his team for marine projects as well as automotive.
I had high hopes for this place considering their good reviews, but I am disappointed with the quality of service i have received.I had my front windshield, A Pillar windows, side windows, and rear window tinted with 3M Crystalline, and 4 rolls of sound deadening applied for 2106 dollars. For the price i paid, i expected a higher quality of workmanship. I expected a team that took pride in their work. If you are an individual who is particular with getting things done to a high quality standard, I do not recommend this place. The sound deadening that John and his team applied gets the job done, but could of been applied better.Issues with the car after work was performed:There are scratches on my car door panel where they cut the sound deadening against the car. (pics are attached)The bolts holding the seats down were gunked with the sound deadening material. (pics are attached)Surfaces not properly cleaned (sound deadening is coming off at the edge in some areas). (pics are attached)John and his team stuck the sound deadening on top of the sealant material on the door panel (yellow material on the door panel). (pics are attached)Front windscreen mirror now has play it in.Driver side front speaker is torn. (Picture of the driver side door before and picture of the speaker after attached)Driver side A Pillar window has a small bubble.Passenger side A Pillar and rear window has a small area where the light is not tinted.No discounts were taken for the work that was performed.All work was performed in June of 2022.I even left my convertible roof off to try and make the work as easy as possible for John and his team.I tried to reach John over the phone but his mailbox was full.I ended up talking to john in person about the work that was performed, in the moment, i forgot to bring up a few things to his attention such as the broken driver side speaker and the window tint flaws. The conversation revolved around the quality of the sound deadening work that was performed.The summary of the conversation was that, this is their normal quality of work. This was the only way to do it, if i wanted my car to not be scratched, i should of paid extra to get the sound deadening material laser cut.And that if i was too bothered by the scratches, he would offer to buy me touch up paint.I took photos and sent them out to another professional in the automotive audio industry and their exact quote was "the installer didn’t take pride in their work unfortunately".I will say, that my windshield tint was top notch. Everything else, not so much.I do not recommend this place, regardless of how much i paid for a service, i expect my vehicle to not be damaged by the work that was performed.
